Educational Institutes are the building blocks a nation’s future. Designing one requires a certain sensitivity towards the children & the youth.
Designing for the renovation of Khilgaon Laboratory High School presented many difficulties. The space too small with too many pupils. The existing structure is dark & dirty. In response, the design became flexible, multi-use, economic & bright – with some innovative space-saving solutions such as using cabinets as partitions & a library where the shelf doubles as the sitting area.
